In the Agafay Desert, the light transforms the arid hills into an almost surreal landscape. Just a few kilometres from Marrakech, the silence of the trails contrasts with the energy of the Red City, while the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains rise on the horizon. As the day unfolds, the scenery constantly changes, creating a unique atmosphere at the gateway to the desert.
Further south, Merzouga reveals its majestic dunes sculpted by the wind. At sunset, the sand glows in shades of gold and amber while the tracks left by quad bikes and buggies slowly fade into the vastness of the desert. Between the dunes, rocky plateaus and endless horizons emerge, showcasing the true grandeur of the Sahara.
The Atlas Mountains then unveil a wilder side of Morocco, with deep gorges, lush valleys and winding roads. Along the Atlantic coast, between Essaouira and Taghazout, the atmosphere changes completely. The sea breeze, wind-swept cliffs and endless ocean views give the journey the feeling of an unforgettable road trip.
